1. What This Page Covers
TL;DRThis page is the standalone cookie disclosure that Privacy Policy §11 summarises. It lists every cookie category we use, why, for how long, and how to opt out.
Clario.ai uses a small number of cookies, grouped into three categories: necessary, analytics, and marketing. The categories below match exactly what our cookie consent banner offers when you first visit the site — nothing here is set silently or outside that banner's control.
2. Cookie Categories
TL;DRNecessary cookies can't be turned off. Analytics only run with your consent. “Marketing” here means marketing emails, not tracking cookies — we set none.
| Category | Cookies set | Purpose | Duration | Opt-out |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token, CSRF token | Keep you signed in and protect the Service against cross-site request forgery. | Access token: 1 hour. Refresh token: 7 days. | Cannot be disabled — required for the Service to function. |
| Analytics | PostHog (EU-hosted) event/session cookies | Understand which pages and features are used, session duration, and device class, to improve the product. No Google Analytics, no ad-tech. | Up to 12 months, or until you withdraw consent — whichever is sooner. | Reject or customize in the cookie banner, or from Settings > Privacy at any time. |
| Marketing | None. No advertising or tracking cookies are set. | The "Marketing" toggle in our consent banner controls marketing emails only (not cookies) — whether we may send you product updates and offers by email. | Consent record retained for as long as your account is active. | Unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or Settings > Privacy. |
3. No Ad-Tech
TL;DRNo advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no data broker sharing.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any cross-site ad-tech. We do not sell or share cookie data with advertising networks. Analytics cookies are set by PostHog, an EU-hosted analytics provider, and only after you consent.
4. Managing Your Preferences
TL;DRChange your choice anytime from the cookie banner or Settings > Privacy.
You can accept, reject, or customize analytics and marketing cookies from the consent banner shown on your first visit, or reopen your preferences at any time from Settings > Privacy in the app. Rejecting or withdrawing consent takes effect immediately and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before that point. See our Privacy Policy §11 for how cookie data relates to our broader data-processing practices.
